Infrastructure Specialist & Smart Hands Technician (On-Demand / Project-Based)

Location: Trinidad and Tobago & Wider Caribbean Employment 

Type: Contract / Project-Based (Database Enrollment)

The Role: We are building an elite database of Infrastructure Specialists to provide "Smart Hands" support for the next generation of AI-driven technology. As an on-demand technician, you will be the physical representative for global tech giants, maintaining the hardware that powers Agentic AI, Edge Computing, and Smart Office environments.

When an AI system in a global data center detects a physical fault, or a multinational firm in Trinidad or the region upgrades to a Smart Office, you are the technician dispatched to execute the solution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Center "Smart Hands": Perform physical interventions on servers, storage arrays, and network switches (Racking, Stacking, Cabling).
• Agentic AI Support: Maintain the specialized GPU-based hardware and high-speed fiber interconnects that power autonomous AI agents.
• Smart Office Integration: Installation and troubleshooting of AI-tracking cameras, IoT occupancy sensors, and Microsoft Teams/Zoom Room hardware.
• Standardized Execution: Follow SOPs with assigned tools to ensure 100% compliance with global quality standards.
• Documentation: Real-time reporting of asset tags, photos of completed work, and ticket closure via mobile platforms.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Foundation: Minimum of a CompTIA A+ or equivalent experience.
• Hardware: Comfort working inside server racks and handling enterprise-grade equipment.
• Connectivity: Proficiency in copper (Cat6a) and Fiber Optic cabling/termination.
• Professionalism: High-level corporate etiquette. You will be working in high-security environments.
• Mobility: Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid passport (for potential regional travel).

Preferred:

• Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, or Cisco CCNA.
• Experience with EPI Data Center courses (CDCP/DCFC).
• Familiarity with IoT protocols and Smart Building sensors.
